TECC provides four 7kW public charge points for anyone with an electric vehicle. This is a public service and generates a small amount of income to cover the electricity costs associated. The units are on the Tap Electric network and should not be confused with the Club zappis for our three cars
TECC Members with EVs can get a discounted rate at these charge points and the process involved is detailed below.
TECC Members receive a significant discount on the rack prices for the chargers.
If you are already a TECC Member, subscribe to Tap using the same email address that you have used for your TECC Membership. Email Tecc to ask for your address to be added to the TECC Member group on the charge points.
If you are not yet a TECC Member, sign up by emailing TECC stating that you wish the charger discount; pay the annual membership subscription and sign up to Tap with the same email address. We will let you know once everything is set up for you to receive the discount.
